This Cookie Policy explains how NextHome, Inc. (“NextHome,” “we,” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the NextHome Events website at events.nexthome.com (the “Site”). Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose personal information and describes your rights and choices.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They help websites function efficiently, enhance user experiences, and provide useful information to website operators. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and software development kits used for comparable purposes.
2. Cookies We Use
a. Necessary Cookies
These cookies (and similar technologies) are essential for the functionality and security of our website. For example:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: Used to protect the contact form from spam and abuse by helping verify that submissions are made by humans. The Turnstile script is loaded from
challenges.cloudflare.com. Cloudflare may set or read cookies or similar storage as part of providing this security feature. - Cloudflare infrastructure / security: As our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare may set cookies commonly used for network security, load balancing, or bot management when you visit the Site.
- Cloudflare Access (preview / staff environments only): When a Preview or staff-protected URL requires authentication, Cloudflare Access may set an authorization cookie so that authorized users can remain signed in. This does not apply to ordinary public browsing of the production Events Site.
The Events Site’s own application JavaScript does not currently write first-party analytics or advertising cookies, and does not use sessionStorage for tracking. The Site may also store a single preference in your browser’s localStorage under the key events-cookie-notice-v1 when you close the cookie notice. That value only records that you dismissed the notice so we do not show it again on later visits; it is not used for advertising or analytics, and it is not a cookie.
b. Analytical Cookies
The Events Site does not currently use Google Analytics or similar analytics cookies.
c. Advertising Cookies
The Events Site does not currently use Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising cookies.
d. Functional Cookies
The Events Site does not currently embed Google Maps, HubSpot contact forms, or similar third-party widgets that set functional cookies on this domain.
e. Tag Management / Embedded Video
The Events Site does not currently use Google Tag Manager or embedded YouTube/Vimeo players.
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Ensure the proper functioning and security of our website (including contact-form abuse protection);
- Deliver Site content via our hosting infrastructure;
- Analyze marketing traffic, deliver interest-based ads, or manage marketing tags — not applicable on the Events Site as currently built.
4. Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- Block or delete cookies.
- Set preferences for certain types of cookies.
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality and usability of our website (for example, Turnstile-protected forms may not work if related cookies or storage are blocked).
The Events Site does not display a cookie-consent banner. Because this Site does not use analytics or advertising cookies—only strictly necessary/security technologies such as Cloudflare Turnstile and infrastructure cookies—a consent banner is not required for the Events Site as currently built.
You can review advertising preferences for Meta properties generally in Meta Ad Preferences; those controls are relevant if you browse www.nexthome.com or other properties that use Meta technologies, not because the Events Site sets Meta cookies today.
5. Third-Party Cookies
We may use third-party services that set their own cookies or process device data. On the Events Site this primarily includes Cloudflare (including Turnstile). We encourage you to review:
If you follow links to Hyatt booking pages, NextHome event microsites, or www.nexthome.com, those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance. Please review this policy periodically for updates.
7. Contact Us
